As part of the current exhibition of Coventry born George Shaws ‘I Woz Ere’ (which runs until 11th March), there was a double bill screening tonight at the Herbert. Firstly was the excellent documentary on George Shaw same name as his exhibition. Made by Jim Turner and Herbert Media. At 45 mins it deserves a BBC Four slot or an Arena logo book ending it. I hope more of an audeince can see this as they have seen George Shaws paintings due to his rise after the Turner Prize nominations this year.
